LG Mini GD880 Coming to Europe This Month

LG GD880 LG Mini GD880 Coming to Europe This Month

The LG GD880 Mini was announced back in February for a March launch, but since that didn’t happen, another press release went out today, saying Europe would have it in April, followed by other markets. For real this time. Honest.

It’s too bad the LG Mini is taking so dang long to make its way to market, since it’s actually got a quite impressive specline: 5 megapixel camera, a new Webkit browser called Phantom that includes HTML5 and Flash support,  Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 7.2 Mbps HSPA, and preloaded cloud sync and social networking apps. The border of the display on the  LG Mini is impressively slim, but that blocky übermodern form factor would take some getting used to. All of this is wrapped up in a proprietary OS which is kind of too bad – with Android, it could tap a top-notch app market.

No word on carrier or pricing for the LG Mini GD880, but Europeans, keep your eyes peeled.
